YVES SAINT LAURENT Touche Éclat Blur Primer YSL 10ml Although would probably use in additional primer to give a skin a proper base as I wouldn’t want to apply it all over the face, due to it being slightly heavier- still would highly recommend for improving the surface of skin and problem areas such as acne scaring. Great product! It does exactly what it says on the tin- or tube! Minimises the appearance of pores, and I loved using this product. I have some scaring and enlarged pores on my skin which this product was great for improving the appearance of, which I loved and I feel my skin look overall more airbrushed after using this. It’s a smooth consistency, isn’t colourless like most primers but is a semi-translucent skin toned colour and feels silky when applied to the skin. Mine is a smaller version of this- although since this product is specifically for minimising pores I only use it on problem areas to smooth out skin, so it will last me a while. I was able to try this product after receiving it in my Benefit Advent Calendar. Although I can’t justify spending this money on a primer when similar products exist, especially since I wasn’t overly keen on the shimmery quality – Bit disappointed but that’s just me! I would recommend this product to extend the wear of make-up particularly evening make-up wear which is what I used this primer for. It seemed to prolong my make-up and helped with the application of my foundation which was good. It left a shimmery appearance on the skin, although this disappears once make-up is applied. It is white in colouring, appearance similar to a lotion as it claims, feels weightless on the skin a much lighter feel than products claiming to ‘erase pores’. It’s available at £21.50 in 30ml bottles, a more hefty purchase. Which I was grateful for as I wouldn’t like to invest in this if I wasn’t sure I’d get on with the product.

I actually received this as a free sample with another purchase of a M.A.C. M.A.C.’s PREP + PRIME SKIN BASE VISAGE, lightweight gel lotion formulated with special-effect silicones. For an every day primer I would highly recommend especially for this value, for a primer that smooths the skin but feels weightless. I use it as an everyday primer, its great as you can barely feel it on the skin nothing like the feel of a moisturiser which I had been using. Most similar to the YSL in physical appearance. It is a thick colour-less sort of gel consistency, which seems to disappear onto the face. It comes in a 20ml bottle and I paid around £7 which is great value for money, especially since applying a small amount seems to goes a long way in prepping the whole face. This primer I bought first, I didn’t want to spend too much and wanted to try a cheaper primer and wanted something that would also smooth my skin.
